This commissioned mantle was
constructed of clear vertical grain (CVG) Douglas Fir.
CVG was used to match the other wood work that already
in the house. The house was a 1920’s bungalow. The
mantle has recessed panels on the pillars and block
moulding under the top. Classic lines of an Arts and
Crafts style mantle.
